About Brandon Damon Video LLC

I’m Brandon Damon, a creative producer who lives and breathes multimedia. Over the past 17+ years, I’ve honed my skills in video, photography, drone cinematography, 360° video, and content production. My work spans all areas of the web—from social media and marketing campaigns to long-form storytelling.

Everything I do is rooted in my fascination with the power of visual storytelling: how images and motion can shape how we understand the world. I bring that curiosity, discipline, and creativity to every project I take on. Whether I’m filming on Sony cameras, flying DJI drones, or editing deep into the night, I approach each job with personal pride and purpose.

My Journey

I first picked up a camera in high school, chasing my friends on their skateboards and capturing their tricks on miniDV tape. I started attending a Video 1 class in High School, which helped facilitate my interest and access to early Mac Computers. Realizing this was more than a hobby, I followed my mom’s advice and studied Television and Digital Media Production at Ferris State University, graduating in 2008.

Right after college, I landed an internship at Coastline Studios filming weddings and took a part-time job at WKTV Community TV. My days were filled with run-and-gun wedding shoots, and my evenings were spent producing high school sports for PBS. The part time at WKTV eventually went full time, and I”d spend 5 years there technically supporting community television , including two studios , I was buried in CAT5 Cable.Those early experiences taught me grit, adaptability, and how to lead a crew under pressure.

In 2013, my path brought me back to my hometown to be closer to the woman who became my wife. Around the same time, I began building a name for myself, shooting music videos, rap battles, and freelance projects across Michigan. I shot everything from wedding to business video.. By 2015, I had secured a full-time role in corporate media—a position that showed me how deeply video can influence business and branding.

Once I paid off my student loans and learned all I could from the corporate business world, I made a leap in 2018: I left my cushy corporate job, launched my own production work full-time, and married my dream partner. That same year, I founded Breaker Digital Marketing, a creative agency, leveraging my years of video production experience, posting multimedia to the web, focused on producing Google & Meta Ads that convert into sales for businesses.

My Approach

I don’t wear a single hat—I’m the producer, the director, the editor, and sometimes the drone pilot. Being a lean, hands-on creator lets me move fast, stay flexible. It allows me to get into more situations, and smaller rooms- running a lean filming crew. 

To me, video isn’t just a marketing tool—it’s an asset with a long shelf life. I build content that works hard for companies and storytellers alike, whether it’s for a website, Instagram, YouTube, or a full marketing campaign. If I need to direct a scene, or step back and let subject be themselves I can play either role the production requires. 

My toolbox includes Sony cameras, a few DJI Mavic Pro drones, and the full Adobe suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom). I’m also FAA-certified to fly, so I bring aerial storytelling into the mix whenever possible.

Life Beyond the Camera

When I’m not creating, I’m at home with my wife Jackie, our dog Jeff, and our cat Kooky. Together, Jackie and I make a travel vlog—for fun, for memories, for the stories that don’t always make it into client work. Nowadays, I’m mostly filming our travels and documenting our family life together and creating travel vlogs.
